Leveling Up: Training with OGS Volleyball from Japan at the Hawaii Convention Center

On February 23, Kanile'a had the incredible opportunity to participate in a high-level volleyball clinic led by OGS Volleyball from Japan at the Hawaii Convention Center. This unique experience gave her the chance to learn from some of the best coaches and players, refining her skills and deepening her understanding of the game.

A World-Class Training Experience

OGS Volleyball is known for its disciplined training methods and emphasis on precision, technique, and strategy. During the clinic, we focused on key aspects of the game, including passing techniques, quicker reaction drills, and smarter defensive positioning. The coaches emphasized efficiency in movement, communication on the court, and the importance of mental toughness.

Taking Our Game to the Next Level

One of the highlights of the clinic was learning the fast-paced playing style that Japanese volleyball is known for. The drills pushed her to be quicker on our feet, make smarter plays, and improve her overall court awareness. She also had the chance to receive feedback from the OGS coaches, helping us fine-tune our individual skills.
